Cemetery Committee Meeting *postponed*

The Cemetery Committee will be meeting at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, March 15 in the Town Board Room.

Due to cold and inclement weather the Cemetery Committee meeting has been moved to March 22nd at 2:30pm

The committee will be discussing and looking at sites for the cremation garden that was discussed at the previous Town Meeting on March 6th.

Work Session – October 25

The Board of Commissioners of the Town of Littleton will hold a work session on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 10:00am at the Town Hall, 112 E. South Main Street. This is in addition to the regularly scheduled work session on Tuesday, October 18.

 

Public Hearing – Hazard Mitigation Plan – Sept 20

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that the Town of Littleton Board of Commissioners will conduct a public hearing on September 20, 2016 at 10:00 am, at the Littleton Town Hall to discuss the Halifax/Northampton Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan. Following the public hearing, the Board will consider adoption of the plan. All citizens are encouraged to attend.

A copy of the plan is available for public review at the following web address: http://www.halifaxnorthamptonhmp.org/plan-documents.html. The public is encouraged to review the draft plan.

Possible Quorum – June 14

There will be a possible quorum of the Littleton Board of Commissioners. The Board will meet on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 beginning at 5:00pm. The Board will immediately go into Closed Session to conduct interviews for the Operator Trainee position.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

The Mayor and the Town of Littleton Board of Commissioners will hold a Public Hearing on June 6, 2016 at 06:00 pm in the Littleton Town Hall, 112 E. South Main Street, Littleton, NC 27850.

The purpose of this hearing will be to receive input from Town Citizens on the completed activities and accomplishments of the Town’s 2012 Community Development Block Grant- Catalyst Program, which was used to undertake community revitalization activities, including sewer improvements, drainage improvements, pedestrian improvements, to renovate an existing building at 114 E. South Main Street for a library and technology center, and for a housing replacement.
